‘Hero’ box-office: Sooraj Pancholi's debut film earned Rs 23.75 crore in 4 days
Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty's debut movie, Hero, had a decent first day as it grossed around Rs 6.50 - 6.75 crore nett.
The collections were better in the mass-oriented circuits with multiplex dominated areas contributing less. Interestingly, Mumbai circuit managed to touch the Rs 2 crore nett. mark.
The business on Saturday did not show any rise with the film managing to earn Rs 6.25 crore. While the number is decent, its failure to grow on second day is a matter on concern. Hero had a decent weekend as it grossed 20.50 crore nett but it saw a drop on Monday. The business in coming days will define the fate of this Salman Khan production.
